Stacking the Shelves 48

STSmall_thumb[2]
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, every Weekend. This is to share books I have acquired from various sources. Physical books & ebooks both are welcome. If its something being sent to me by mail, I will not mention it until I actually receive it.
So this last weekend I was suddenly approved for lots of ebooks on Netgalley that I had actually given up on getting plus some freebies from Amazon, plus a few other goodies so a busy week in books.  On the plus side, I also read a lot so several reviews to come!

    1. Most libraries have some manga. Just a question of how much. The bigger the county/library system the better options it seems. If you ever check any out, I hope you enjoy them.

  5. OOOh nice haul! Lots of new to me ones here! The cover of Stray looks a lot like the one for Aprilynne Pike's Earthbound! Betting that's the same model and shot with the bubble! Think Earthbound had bubbles too!

    Happy Reading!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

    1. Yea, the covers are basically the same just different colors. The cover duplication is getting out of hand. I know new concepts can be hard but I wish they would at least TRY.

    1. The first was decent, the second was the best though as you really get into his character. Although her inner goddess gets annoying real fast.

    1. The first 2 volumes are actually just the original 6 books of The Last Vampire series I read years ago. I thought Christopher Pike might have changed things to continue the series, but no. I am curious to see how it is all going to tie together.
