Top Ten Tuesday 21

toptentuesday

Top Ten Books On My Summer TBR list

Sadly, I didn't even get to finish my spring Top ten list, so some are repeats.  I still am determined to read them, but time ran away with me these past 2 months.  Family emergencies, and wedding preparations take a lot out of a person I have learned.
So since some are repeats, I am actually showing you my top 15!  My summer read list is mostly catch-ups that I had hoped to have read by now.

Brisingr (The Inheritance Cycle, #3)Splintered (Splintered, #1)Probability AngelsA Shade of Vampire (A Shade of Vampire, #1)RoomsThe Eternity Cure (Blood of Eden, #2)Graduation Day (The Testing, #3)The Reformed Vampire Support GroupHer Dark Curiosity (The Madman's Daughter, #2)Cruel BeautyEverbound (Everneath, #2)Bite Club (The Morganville Vampires, #10)City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments, #4)Finding EmmaA Dawn of Dragonfire (Dragonlore, #1)

So there we have it.

While you are here I have some great giveaways for you to check out:

  1. I've only just finished Cruel Beauty last weekend and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It's definitely not a book that everyone would love, because the MC are people whom your first instinct would be to feel repulsion. Yet somehow, I feel like I could relate to her, I really GOT her character, and that has made my entire reading experience like WHOA. It takes some effort to look at things from the MC's perspective but once you do, trust me, you won't regret it!

Have a great summe reading =)

  2. I really enjoyed Brisingr (although all the books in that series are so long)! It was really good though. I hope you enjoy City of Heavenly Fire, because that was also a great read!

    1. The Inheritance series so far is a fun read. While sort of long, it reads fast.

I have really been enjoying the Mortal Instruments series so far

    1. I want to finish a list but it is so easy to be sidetracked. Especially when my priority reads conflicts with new releases, or series I am in the middle of, etc. Thanks for the recommendations for books to be sure to read sooner!

  5. I hope you enjoy City of Fallen Angels! I read City of Heavenly Fire as soon as it released, and I thought it was such a perfect ending to the TMI series!

    1. You are doing better than I am. I worked in a thrift store that refused to sell fantasy or paranormal and being those are 2 of my favorite genres I got a ton of free books so I have at least 2000 I have yet to read. And I still buy more! Looks like we both got our future reading cut out for us!

    1. Thank you. I had Splintered on my Spring reading. I keep wanting to read it but I am already involved in a lot of series and behind on review so it sadly keeps getting pushed to the side.
